Privacy Policy

In short: our game Rocket Booster does not require an account or login, and it does not collect personal information from players. It currently has no ads and no in-app purchases. This page explains what that means, what may change in future updates, and how our website works.
1. Who we are
Scale Shift Studio ("we", "us") is a game and software studio based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. This policy covers our website scaleshift.studio and the games we publish, including Rocket Booster. You can reach us at hello@scaleshift.studio.
2. Our games (Rocket Booster)
- No account, sign-in or registration is needed to play.
- We do not ask for, collect or store your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information inside the game.
- If the game saves settings or progress, that information stays on your device.
- Google Play may give us aggregated technical statistics (such as crash reports and performance data) through the Play Console. We use these only to find and fix problems and to improve the game.
3. Advertising (planned for future updates)
The current version of Rocket Booster does not show ads. We plan to add ads in a future update. When we do, ads will be served by third-party advertising networks (for example Google AdMob). These networks may collect and use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), your IP address and information about your device and how you interact with ads, in order to show, measure and personalise ads under their own privacy policies.
Before we release a version that contains ads, we will update this policy and the "Data safety" information on our Google Play listing. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
4. In-app purchases (possible in future)
There are no in-app purchases at the moment. If we add them later, payments will be handled by Google Play. We will not receive or store your card or payment details.
5. Our website
- Hosting and security. The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web service, it processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may set security cookies for this purpose.
- Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address when a page loads.
- Studio Agent. The "Studio Agent" on our homepage runs in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to our servers. It is only shared with us if you choose to send it by email or WhatsApp.
- No tracking cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on the website at this time.
6. When you contact us
If you email us, message us on Instagram or WhatsApp, or apply for an internship, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and any files or links you send. We use it only to reply to you, to discuss projects or applications, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our emails are handled through Gmail and an email delivery service used to send replies.
7. Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The current version of Rocket Booster collects no personal information from any player. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us (for example by email), please contact us and we will delete it.
8. How long we keep information
We do not collect personal data inside our games. Correspondence (emails and messages) is kept for as long as needed for the purpose it was shared, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for its use, by writing to hello@scaleshift.studio. We handle such requests in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
10. Third-party services
- Google Play (distribution of our games)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security)
- Google Fonts (website fonts)
- Gmail and an email delivery service (correspondence)
- Instagram and WhatsApp (if you contact us there)
These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.
11. Security
We use HTTPS on our website and reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our games or services change, for example when we add ads or in-app purchases. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
